Enbridge Gas and Humber College, in partnership with the City of Toronto and the EnviroCentre, are excited to announce the start of the Home Efficiency Retrofit Orientation (HERO) program for 2021.

HERO helps homeowners incorporate best practices in energy-efficient upgrades in home renovations that improve comfort, resilience, GHG reductions, and lower energy costs. The session will detail available rebate programs and information on Heating/Cooling systems, Insulation, Windows, Hot Water Heating & reducing Air Leakage. It is geared toward single-family homeowners (i.e. detached, semi-detached, townhome house types).

Buy in Bulk

Buying in bulk is a great way to cut carbon by reducing packaging (embodied carbon and waste) and reducing shipping emissions. Plus, one trip is better than ten. 

Bonus: it will likely reduce waste as staff and management begin to keep a close eye on purchasing cycles.
